I've been having a lot of fun partying in Big Sky, but the hangovers are becoming a drag. A goal of mine here in Big Sky is to work on my life, relationships, friendships, and just doing the things I should have done in my 20s instead of sitting at a computer screen.

I've always been interested in playing piano, practiced a little in the past. I ordered a Roland FP-30X and a tablet to use for educational apps and sheet music. I'm going through a basics course, which has been too easy, but I haven't practiced properly in so long, I think it's best if I'm patient with it and go through the basics again. This will take a long time and a lot of dedication anyways, there's no rush.

When I get bored of doing courses, I practice SYML - Sentimental - this is the song I will master first.

The stand and bench both suck, they came with it as a package. I ordered new ones.

I also bought a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, a FPV drone. I've never done this, but it seems like a cool and fun outdoor toy with a good quality camera, it's got some practical use as well.

The point of the piano, and the drone, is to find hobbies and creative outlets. Build my life, rather than my code. Maybe I end up hating both pianos and drones, maybe I end up enjoying them and finding myself gravitating towards these things instead of my laptop. That would be sweet.

I'll probably post more about these later and what I end up doing with them.

I also did a hike recently. It kicked my ass, I haven't been exercising much. This is Storm Castle Peak, between Bozeman and Big Sky. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area, it takes about 2-3 hours, don't forget to bring bear spray.
