Facepunch brought me on nearly three years ago, my tenure ended with them last month. I was able to see how things operate inside a successful game studio, watch how leaders act, meet some good people, and make some cool things.

I love making games. I made games at work, then made my own games at home. My time management sucks, ultimately my at-home projects ate up all my time and ambition.

I'm building some awesome stuff for my game Fragsurf, but it's so niche that bringing it to a larger audience is challenging and expensive. I have another game in the works, it's in the same niche, but it's something I just need to get out there. After that, I will build outside of this niche.

90% of my YouTube and Twitter friends probably don't care much about my at-home projects because they're not S&box related. I'll be posting about them on Twitter and YouTube anyways, some people will unfriend me about it, and that's okay.

I'll always appreciate Facepunch and the S&box community. I'm not sure when I'll build in S&box again, I've got a lot of work to do. It may be next month, it may be next year. I'll be watching it grow and looking forward to seeing what you all make with it!
